THE PILEATED WOODPECKER IS ALMOST AS LARGE AS A CROW. IT EATS GRUBS OUT OF DISEASED TREES AND SELDOM COMES TO A FEEDER. THE LOWLAND FORESTS IN FORESTVILLE STATE PARK HAVE MANY PILEATED WOODPECKERS.
