As of March 7 we had Canada Geese, Shoveler, Pintails, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Gadwalls, and Mallards show up on local ponds.

NATURE NOTES OF S.E. MINNESOTA by Gary and Bobbie Erickson: For years we have kept track of events such as the arrival of the first Hummingbird or the blooming of the first Marsh Marigold.
