Shooting Star. The Shooting Stars are blooming well on Hayden Prairie. Hayden Prairie is a 200+ acre native prairie located about 5 miles west of Lime Springs, Iowa. It is a rich and diverse prairie that has never been under the plow. Well worth visiting many times during late spring and through summer.

About Me
For years we have kept track of events such as the arrival of the first Hummingbird or the blooming of the first Marsh Marigold. We have now begun to photograph these events and felt others may be interested in what we run into in our "nature wanderings". CLICK ON PHOTOS TO ENLARGE THEM.
