NATURE NOTES OF S.E. MINNESOTA
one of the few butterflies to overwinter and come out early in the spring. I assume the name comes from it's colors-like a death robe??

For years we have kept track of events such as the arrival of the first Hummingbird or the blooming of the first Marsh Marigold.
