When we looked back to the S.W. from the top of Mount Mazama(Crater Lake) we could see that the fires we had smelled 150 miles back had blown into monsters. The smoke plumes got larger as the day progressed and we were glad we were headed home in the other direction. Over the next three days we would cover almost 2000 miles to get home. A great adventure for us and our granddaugter.
