What a beautiful sparrow.  The White-throated Sparrows are here in good numbers now.  The Fox Sparrows have left, to be replaced by these guys.  Their clear high-pitched whistle lets us know they have arrived.   Migratories, they will stay a few weeks and then be gone farther north to breed.
