 Leopard frog.

 

 Mating Whiteface dragonflies.  Probably Dot-tailed Whiteface, but the female(on the right) is atypical.

 Red-spotted Purple, Meadow Fritillary, and Mourning Cloak butterflies.

 

 Ebony Jewelwing Damselflies.  The female has a white spot on the wing.

 

 Hundreds of Yellow Lady's Slippers are blooming along Ivy Road near Hayden Prairie 4 miles west of Lime Spring, Iowa.  There is a Hayden Prairie turn sign on hwy #63 near Lime Springs.  Many people consider Lady's as only a woodland flowers, but The Yellow Lady's of the prairie bloom about 2-3 weeks later than the woodland Lady's.

 

Bluet Damsel flies.  Damselflies are smaller, more delicate relatives of Dragonflies.  A challenge to photograph as they are about 1/16 of an inch in diameter. 

 Immature Bald Eagle.

 The Northshore of Lake Superior from Duluth to the Canadian boarder is a must see place.  It has Big waves, big forests, clean fast rivers, and best of all many spectacular waterfalls.  We have video of some falls on facebook also.  On facebook look for Gary Erickson of Spring Valley Minnesota.
