Male Purple Finch.  We have had Purple Finches on and off all winter, but more have shown up after our last snowfall(10 inches).  At least 8 were at the feeder at once this morning.

We have at least 8 Chickadees that come to our feeder at one time.  It is hard to get above a count of 8, as they come and go so quickly.

Bobbie got this female Cardinal towards the end of the last ice storm.  As soon as the ice was all gone we got 10 inches of snow.

Barred Owl outside our kitchen window.  Probably came up to hunt rabbits or mice close to our bird feeding area.

Nice hoar-frost this morning.

Blue Jay & Cardinal.  Don't often see them on the same branch.  Had good numbers (over a dozen) of each today at the feeders.

Saw three nice flocks of Turkeys on a 15 mile backroad trip today.  Could not get a good photo, so dug one out of our file.

Interesting frost on the porch window this morning.

-8 this morning, and the freezing rain from 3 days ago is still on the pines.

Found another Bald Eagle nest with adults nearby.  Three our of Four nest we checked this week had adults close by.
