Cooper's Hawk.  This female just took a dive run by our sunflower feeder trying to catch a bird to eat.  It missed and sat in the birch about 50 feet from the house.

More dense snow.  Hard to say how much as the wind is howling and the drifting is the worst we have seen in several years.

Record snowfall for Feb. and more is falling today.  The deer have taken to eating twigs and we have to fence all our trees and shrubs that are less than 6 feet tall.

Blue Jays love sunflower seeds.



After a 10 inch snowfall yesterday we had at least 9 Chickadees at our sunflower feeder at once.  They come and go so quickly that there must have been more than just the 9 at one time.

The snow really brings the Cardinals into our feeders.

I am not sure that Gabby enjoyed our morning walk today.  We are getting a mix of sleet, snow, freezing drizzle.
