 Meadow Fritillary on Early Sunflower.  The Meadow Fritillary is about 1/2 the size of a Great Spangled Fritillary shown several posts below.


 Toad.  The last two times we mowed this toad sat on the deck ramp until we finished.  Smart toad ???

Just had a large hatch of Hackberry butterflies at our place.  It is quite an experience to walk down the sidewalk with two dozen butterflies circling.
