Bald Eagle pair close to a nest.  Of the seven eagle nests in western Fillmore County that we check on a regular basis, all seven have eagles either on the nest of close by.  It is likely that some have already laid eggs.

Coyote in the Lanesboro area.  Looked in good rig.  Coyotes help control the vermin population.

Junco.  By far the most common bird at our winter feeders.  Prefers the smaller seeds and to feed off the ground.

Horned Lark.  This is the small bird that we see flying up from the roadsides this time of year.  Saw 5 on just our 1/2 mile long driveway yesterday.

This deer has learned to eat our of our J.D. feeder.  I had to open a window to get it to leave.  The snow is ice crusted and wildlife is having a tough time getting to their food.
