Cooper's Hawk was back at our place Christmas Day.

 

 BIRDS AT OUR FEEDER THIS WEEK.

 

 One of our favorite Chickadee photos.  Took this 16 years ago, on a bitter cold day, with one of our very first digital cameras.  It was either 2 or 4 megapixels.  Now we shoot with 20-30 megapixels.

 

 

Got about 6 inches of snow and the birds are busy at the feeders today.

 Saw about 4 dozen Bald Eagles(both mature & immature) in a 5 mile stretch of the Mississippi backwater near the Minn/Iowa boarder.
