This 5 month old fawn spotted me taking its picture through our picture window.  It tried to "stomp" me off, as they often do.  We see them almost daily as they come on the lawn to eat our dropped apples.

 

 Mississippi backwaters Monday:  Great Blue Heron, Pied-billed Grebe, Pelican flock. 

 

 Had several thumb sized Ruby-crowned Kinglets on our prairie yesterday.

 Meadowhawk, perhaps the last dragonfly of this year.

 Thanks to Steven & Darcy we got to Yosemite National Park.  Our fist tour was of the giant Mariposa grove of giant Sequoia trees.  Some are over 300 ft tall and have a diameter of almost 30 ft.  Truly magnificent.
